TERRORISM

The threat to the UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) from terrorism is substantial. Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) and the UK Intelligence Services have stopped seven late-stage terror attacks since early 2020. Between September 2001 and March 2021 there have been approximately 5000 arrests in relation to terrorism.
